5 days. It has only been 5 days since I arrived in Australia but already so many things have happened. First of all Melbourne is a lovely place and I really like it here. The people here have been nothing but friendly and even my tram driver said 'bless you' when someone sneezed. I met some people for the first time, played Black Light Mini Golf, tried Australian beer, drank Australian coffee, cycled with a helmet, ate Laksa, saw a White Tail spider, found a guy drunk and unconscious in someone's front garden and I called someone stupid less than 5 minutes after meeting them and then continued to completely crush their dreams about being free after finishing high school. Very productive past 5 days.

Zo hoor je maanden lang niets over deze stad, en opeens is 'ie helemaal hot (terwijl het er nog niet eens zomer is). Ik ben m'n mobiel thuis vergeten, anders had ik je het wel ge-whatsappt, maar zo weet je in ieder geval nu alvast dat ik op afstand met je meeleef. Heel veel groeten uit druilerig Amsterdam, Pia
